Women take the spills of polo in their stride

SOME of them may have suffered some serious injuries in polo, but that has not stopped these women from continuing to play their favourite sport.

Yesterday, Justine Tan, Harpreet Bedi, and Lynly Fong were among 21 players strutting their stuff as part of the Shanghai Tang International Women's Polo Tournament.

The final was won by Tan's team, Singapore Slingers. They beat Bedi's Elevation Polo 5-2 in a four-chukka match at the Singapore Polo Club.
