SINGAPORE golfer Lam Chih Bing's dream of claiming his first-ever Asian Tour win was crushed in disappointing fashion at the Hero Honda Indian Open in New Delhi yesterday.

The Republic's No 2 went into the final round just four strokes off the pace set by China's Liang Wenchong, after a stunning five-under 67 in the third round of the US$1 million (S$1.46 million) event on Saturday.

But at the close of the fourth round at the Delhi Golf Club yesterday, the leaderboard made for dismal reading.
