Johnson wins Eagle Award

HE HAD an O-level English Language paper a few hours later but, unlike most of his classmates, Johnson Poh was nowhere near his books yesterday morning.

Instead, the passionate golfer was on Laguna National Golf and Country Club's fairways for the fourth and final leg of the HSBC Youth Golf Inter-School League.

And at a lunch reception later, the Bedok South Secondary student was presented with the Tay Cheng Khoon Eagle Award for the second year running.
