Ng bags Singapore's first gold at Asian Beach Games

WOODBALL player Ng Yeow Gim has claimed Singapore's first gold medal at the inaugural Asian Beach Games in Bali.

'I am really happy to have won this medal,' said the 44-year-old. 'I am proud to be able to get such a good result for my country.'

His route to the gold, however, was no stroll along the beach.
