New York - Patrick Dempsey thinks he will see a good ending on his TV show Grey's Anatomy - at least for his romance on the hit medical show.

Stepping out for the cameras with fashion designer Donatella Versace at a Whitney Museum of American Art fundraising gala on Monday, the actor, who plays Dr Derek 'McDreamy' Shepherd, was asked if wedding bells will ring for him with his on-off screen lover Dr Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) on the show.

'There may be. I think so,' he answered.
