Hire S'poreans first? But they spurn jobs

I refer to last Sunday's letter by Mr Edmund Lin, 'Tough times, so hire S'poreans first'.

I have read a lot about Singaporeans complaining that their jobs are taken away by foreigners. However, as a spa service operator, I find that my biggest headache is manpower.

I would love to have a team of skilled Singaporeans, but the reality is that locals are not interested in working in this industry.
