>AS THE global financial crisis starts to bite, next year's Budget takes on added importance - and Singaporeans now have a chance to offer their views on it.

The Budget 2009 Feedback Exercise was launched yesterday by the Ministry of Finance (MOF) in partnership with Reach (Reaching Everyone for Active Citizenry @ Home), a government agency that encourages grassroots participation.MOF hopes to engage Singaporeans on issues concerning public finance and to gather views on how the Budget can best be used to enhance the economy.
