Olympic camp attracts 200 kids

FORMER Singapore sprinter C. Kunalan, who set the national 100m record at the 1968 Games in Mexico, was among those who re-enacted the torch relay of a typical Olympics at an adventure camp yesterday.

Over 200 students from some 40 secondary schools participated in the three-day event organised by the Singapore Olympic Academy. The camp began on Monday.

Other activities at the Labrador Adventure Centre included a mini Ancient Olympic Games competition and flame-lighting ceremony.
