LAM Chih Bing fired a five-under 67 to get his Mercedes-Benz Masters campaign off to a sizzling start yesterday.

The Singaporean golfer is one stroke behind leader Malaysian M. Sasidaran at the US$50,000 (S$74,000) event, the seventh leg of the Asean Tour.

'It's going well at the moment,' said a beaming Lam, who on Tuesday earned his ticket to the Nov 20-23 Hong Kong Open in a qualifier in Johor.
