LONDON: A sister of Baby P, the 17- month-old boy killed while under the protection of social services in Britain's Haringey Council, was allegedly seriously abused despite also being on the council's 'at risk' register.

Baby P was found dead in his blood- spattered cot with multiple injuries, including fractured ribs and a broken back, in August last year. He had suffered months of physical torture, and despite visits by social workers or health visitors, he was not taken into care.

His mother, stepfather and a lodger were convicted of causing or allowing the death of the child.
