SEVEN Sri Lankan nationals were arrested earlier this week and accused of using home-made credit cards to go on a $20,000 shopping spree, the authorities revealed yesterday.

The men were taken into custody after law- enforcement officials raided a room at the Hawaii Hostel in Bencoolen Street on Tuesday night.

The suspects were aged between 22 and 53, according to an Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) spokesman.
