FROM one of the top sports in Singapore with players from the Republic ranked among the world's top 10, squash here is today a dying sport.
While it may not be extinct, far fewer people play it. There has also been a cut in the funding for the sport, as well as a decrease in the number of public and private squash facilities available to enthusiasts.
But this dip in interest does not bother top English player James Willstrop one bit, as there was a similar trend in another sport in his homeland.
