In a year when the box office has been dominated by a certain man in a bat suit, actor Brendan Fraser is holding his own very well, thank you very much.

His third Mummy film, The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor, has scored close to US$400 million (S$612 million) in worldwide box-office takings since it premiered in July, while that of Journey To The Centre Of The Earth, his other 2008 action film, has just passed the US$200 million (S$303 million) mark. Batman grossed close to US$1 billion worldwide.

In town last week to promote the 3-D version of Journey, which opens in Singapore on Dec 18, the 39-year-old was tired but enthused about the new technology.
