A GLUE sniffer who had asked to be admitted to the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) in the hopes of beating his addiction has landed in prison for attacking a male nurse.

Lin Zhiwen, 26, was yesterday jailed for three months after he admitted to punching staff nurse Goh Kian Meng several times during a fit of rage earlier this year.

The attack came just five months after Lin started treatment for his addiction.
