MediaCorp TV host Quan Yifeng has made headlines for her outrageous pronouncements about her tumultuous marriage.

But she sounded subdued over the telephone from Taipei yesterday when she spoke about her divorce from former actor Peter Yu.

The split was announced in a brief statement, e-mailed to the press on Wednesday night, signed by Yu and Quan.
