>A RUBBISH truck driver who caused the death of a Malaysian motorcyclist through his negligence was fined $10,000 and banned from driving for four years yesterday.

Sim Kian Chun, 56, who pleaded guilty, failed to give way to Mr Moganakumar Gopal, 20, when making a right turn along Joo Koon Circle on March 12, resulting in the motorbike hitting the right side of his vehicle. Sim also admitted to injuring the pillion rider, Mr Kannan Nadarajah, 24.
