KEPPEL Offshore & Marine (O&M) has clinched $200 million worth of new contracts to end a year that has been dominated by the global slowdown.

The company received new orders through its subsidiaries Keppel Shipyard, Keppel Singmarine and Keppel Cebu Shipyards, it said yesterday.

This comes after an announcement last month by Keppel O&M that contracts worth $1.2 billion were under review. These included a semi-submersible for Scorpion Offshore, two jack-up rigs for Seadrill and a multi-functional support vessel for Lewek Shipping.
