Liu off to coach Indonesia's paddlers

SINGAPORE table tennis head coach Liu Guodong, who led the country to its first Olympic medal in 48 years, is heading to Indonesia.

The 35-year-old China national had earlier declined to renew his contract with the Singapore Table Tennis Association (STTA).

Liu, whose contract expires today, revealed that he had signed a deal with the Indonesia Table Tennis Federation to take charge of its men and women's teams.
