Baby Phylis just had to usher in 2009

Weighing 3.14kg, she was delivered at the KK Women's and Children's Hospital at midnight, and was the hospital's first baby for 2009.

Some doctors even turned up to take photos of her after the delivery. There were five other mothers waiting at the delivery suite at the time of her birth.

Proud parents Andy Lau, 31, and Teresa Lim, 30, were surprised but extremely happy because baby Phylis was not due till Jan 4.
