FAS raises bar for S-League fitness test

THE footballers in Singapore's professional league will need to be fitter than ever this year.

This, after the S-League recently raised the passing mark for its compulsory Beep Test, a multi-stage shuttle run that gauges match fitness.

Players are now required to pass Level 13-1, up from last year's Level 12-12.
