Thumper club at Goodwood Park Hotel bowed out quietly after its New Year's Eve party on Wednesday.

Local musician John Molina, who took over the running of the nightspot in November last year, said the club stopped operations yesterday and it is scheduled to undergo a facelift after Chinese New Year.

But its fate is now hanging in the air as he could not confirm when it would reopen. He declined to comment when asked if the club might eventually close or if it had money woes.
