LI JIAWEI has never got the better of world No. 1 Zhang Yining in their 14 meetings since 2001, but that long winless streak could end soon.

From tomorrow, Singapore's women paddlers will come under the tutelage of Zhou Shusen - the coach who nurtured Olympic and world champion Zhang to where she is today.

The Chinese national, 67, takes over from compatriot Liu Guodong, who coached the Singapore women's team to an Olympic silver in Beijing last year.
