Police arrested 23 drink drivers in a 41/2-hour islandwide operation last Friday night. This brings the total number of drink drivers caught this year to 222.

Fifty-three persons were also summoned for other traffic-related offences.

Drink drivers will be disqualified from driving for at least 12 months.
