14 years on, liver transplant girl weds

MS RAZIAH Begum Alamgir's life was saved at the age of 11 when she became the first successful child liver transplant recipient in Singapore. This was after she had been diagnosed with liver failure.

Now, 14 years and a multitude of pills and regular check-ups later, she has become the first child liver transplant recipient to tie the knot.

Ms Raziah, 25, married bank officer Muhammed Aqeel Ashraf, 26, who was introduced to her by her cousin five years ago.
