Expert's tip: Buy Singapore dollar, stocks

SINGAPORE, not China or India, is one of the markets that a leading banker has urged investors to pump their cash into - in a message sure to be music to the ears of companies listed here.

Dr V. Anantha-Nageswaran, Bank Julius Baer's chief investment officer for the Asia-Pacific, sees much value both in Singapore stocks and the Singapore dollar.

Speaking at the inaugural Business Times Dialogue held last Friday at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore in partnership with Julius Baer, he told participants to buy Asian stocks because they are cheap.
