Sat, Feb 28, 2009
The Straits Times

THE Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) is taking the job market by the horns, offering some 2,000 positions at a three-day job fair in Ngee Ann City, which runs until tomorrow.

The positions are in the uniformed branches, either in the combat or service support vocations. They include divers, pilots, commandos, guards and armour personnel.

Military planners hope the sluggish job market would make a career in the armed forces an attractive option.
