A GROUP of irate shoppers lodged a police report yesterday against an Internet bulk-order organiser, accusing her of cheating them of tens of thousands of dollars.

According to the report, the group has accused the organiser, who calls herself 'Lisa' on the Singapore Motherhood website, of swindling more than 60 people. They claimed to have passed her more than $30,000 via Internet banking to buy Coach handbags.

Lisa claimed she had connections which allowed her to buy the handbags from the United States at greatly discounted prices.
