The Straits Times

Coming your way is a Hollywood tentpole movie set in a dystopian future where corporations call the shots and races take place between geneticallyengineered pilots in exoskeleton-suits.

The twist in the plot? It is based on a created-in-Singapore comic book.

Described as a cross between Transformers and The Fast And The Furious, the comic Freedom Formula: Ghost Of The Wasteland has been acquired by major movie studio New Regency for development into a live-action feature film that will be distributed by Fox.
