ST ANDREW'S Junior College (SAJC) has installed solar panels which generate enough electricity to power two classrooms everyday.

Placed on the the roof of the school's cultural centre, the panels were unveiled on Thursday by Senior Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources Amy Khor.

Paid through a $30,000 sponsorship by Finish mobile phone company Nokia, the panels are also used to teach scientific principles in Physics lessons.
