THE arts community here got together yesterday to pick two people they could see speaking up for them as Nominated Members of Parliament (NMPs).

The 150-odd people who turned up chose Ms Audrey Wong, the artistic co-director of arts venue The Substation, and Ms Loretta Chen, the artistic director of theatre group Zebra Crossing.

Ms Wong, 41, garnered 82 votes, and Ms Chen, 32, got 39.
