Baby boom as mums replace lost children

SHIFANG CITY: - A decade after giving birth to her first child, 35-year-old Zhao Zhongyu is a mother again - this time to twin boys.

Wang Bohua and Boxiao, born three minutes apart, were delivered by Caesarean section on April 23 at a hospital in Sichuan province's Shifang City.

The week-old babies were swaddled tightly in blankets and sleeping close to their mother when we visited them at home in quake-ravaged Hongbai town.
