CONSUMERS grumbling about the rising cost of living may be pleased to know that a cup of coffee or tea at the neighbourhood coffee shop has cost more or less the same since February.

The average price of kopi and teh - local coffee or tea with condensed milk - has held steady at 80 cents, while a can of green tea, Coke or Pepsi has cost $1.20 since then.

These figures come from the Consumers Association of Singapore (Case), which released its second Beverage Price Survey yesterday, an expanded follow-up to its survey in February.
