Singapore's paddlers have all bowed out of the US$330,000 (S$475,000) China Open in Suzhou.

Their top woman player, world No. 6 Feng Tianwei, progressed to the quarter-finals of the singles competition yesterday.

But she succumbed to Korea's Kim Kyung Ah, the world No. 8, whose trademark defensive style carried her to a 11-9, 11-9, 9-11, 12-10, 11-3 win.
