SAA wants to appoint Yeo as its chief executive

THE Football Association of Singapore's former general secretary could soon return to the sporting scene, five months after leaving the Singapore Flyer.

Steven Yeo, 46, will take up the chief executive officer's position at the Singapore Athletic Association (SAA) - pending approval from the Singapore Sports Council.

SAA president Loh Lin Kok said yesterday: 'After the usual employment processes, we have whittled down the candidates to Steven and submitted his name to the SSC.
