KUALA LUMPUR: - The three Pakatan Rakyat (PR) member parties will sit down today for the first time since the controversy over 'unity talks' with Umno broke out two weeks ago.

PR, the opposition coalition, has been roiled by the issue since Parti Islam SeMalaysia (PAS) brought it up at its recent annual congress.

Though PAS has been trying to play down the talks as mere 'discussions' on Malay-Muslim issues, there are worries in the opposition camp that these may lead to a coalition with the ruling party, or at least some form of cooperation.
