THE Philippines football team has tested negative for Influenza A (H1N1), a day after one of its players came down with the virus at the ongoing Asian Youth Games (AYG) in Singapore.

But all 20 members of the squad, including two coaches and a doctor, will remain in quarantine at the Aloha Loyang Resort until Friday, say organisers.

The Philippines was originally slated to play in Group B with Iran and Chinese Taipei, but its matches have since been postponed.
