SingTel shareholders query iPhone and F1

SHAREHOLDERS at SingTel's annual general meeting (AGM) yesterday got answers they liked on how the company will benefit from its iPhone exclusive distributorship and Formula 1 race sponsorship.

But it was a somewhat different story when one shareholder asked - again - about a possible repeat of a special dividend.

The hour-long event for Singapore's biggest listed company was one of its shorter AGMs of recent years. It was held at NTUC Centre and attracted more than 300 shareholders.
