Licensing mixed breeds

IN SINGAPORE, there are 4,683 mixed breeds licensed by the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA).

The AVA currently classifies only one mixed breed - the Labradoodle - while all the others are labelled under one category.

The number of Labradoodles - a mix of the Labrador and the Poodle - has increased from six in 2004 to 93 now.
