THE body of a teen lost at sea was found yesterday, more than 30 hours after he disappeared in the waters off East Coast Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it received a call at about 2.10am informing it that the body of 18-year-old Mohammed Nazim Ismail had been brought ashore.

By then, divers from the SCDF and Naval Diving Unit had called off their search efforts. However, boats from the Police Coast Guard and the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore were still looking in the area at the time.
