Lions break 34-year jinx

Singapore players celebrating Aleksandar Duric's 38th-minute goal that secured a precious 1-0 win over Thailand at Bangkok's Rajamangala Stadium yesterday.

Not only did the Lions end a 34-year-old jinx of not winning on Thai soil, but the result also salvaged their chances of qualifying for the 2011 Asian Cup.
