Cat strangling: Reward for info

A cat was found dead yesterday tied to a pipe at Block 205, Toa Payoh North. It is believed to have been strangled to death with the string.

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the act.

Animal cruelty is punishable by imprisonment of up to a year and/or fine of up to $10,000.
