Mumbai 'still vulnerable'

NEW DELHI: Mumbai is no less vulnerable to militant attacks one year after the carnage that killed 166 people, say experts, who call for more security measures to prevent another deadly strike.

On Nov 26 last year, Indians and the world watched in horror as a band of armed Islamic militants attacked hotels, a railway station and other targets, unleashing a bloodbath in the city.

Following the attacks, which paralysed India's financial hub for more than 60 hours, the government spent millions of dollars to shore up security in Mumbai and other major cities.
