CHILDREN and youths under 18 may get their H1N1 jabs in a few days, as soon as the health authorities confirm it is safe for them.

The vaccine, available here since early this month, is not yet licensed for use on those under 18.

Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan said yesterday on the sidelines of an active ageing event in Sembawang: 'More care is being taken because we have to be sure it is safe before giving it to children.'
