Govt to help seniors get wired

TWO months ago, retiree K.W Chan set up a Facebook account to share his vacation pictures with friends.

The 66-year-old spent a week mastering the online social networking site and now updates his account almost daily.

His digital dexterity was praised by Acting Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts Lui Tuck Yew yesterday as he announced that the Government is going to make it even easier for Singapore seniors to be tech-savvy.
