Missing boy's body found by river bank

A MISSING six-year-old boy was found dead yesterday, fully clothed and stuffed in a trolley bag left by the Kallang River.

The discovery came a day after the police issued an appeal for information on Muhammad Nor Rashidy Rahmat. The boy's family had reported on Monday that they had not seen him since Nov 18.

A 31-year-old man has been arrested, and police are treating the case as murder. The man and his wife had been hired by Rashidy's family to take him to school and bring him home.
