KUALA LUMPUR: A premium factory outlet coming up in Johor is expected to give Malaysia's tourist revenues a big boost when it opens in 2011.

It will be part of the US-based Chelsea Premium Outlets chain, known for its large, upscale outlet shops that sell brand names at discounted prices in major cities around the world.

Woodbury Common - Chelsea's most famous outlet in upstate New York - for instance, has 220 stores selling top brands such as Burberry, Prada and Giorgio Armani.
