Art dealer wants antiques back

AN ART dealer has accused his former girlfriend of refusing to return antiques worth hundreds of thousands of dollars to him out of spite because he ended their affair two years ago.

Mr Subhash Kapoor, 61, had a relationship with Ms Paramaspry Punusamy for about 10 years from 1998.

He told the High Court yesterday on the second day of the hearing that it was not his habit to give antiques to his girlfriends. They got only chocolates and flowers from him, Mr Kapoor, a divorcee, said.
