RESORTS World Sentosa's (RWS) casino licence has been issued, and the full line-up of games released.

But with interest in Singapore's first casino reaching a fever pitch among tourists and Singaporeans, one crucial bit of information - the opening date - is missing, and travel industry players are growing impatient about being kept in the dark.

Ten travel agents told The Straits Times they have been receiving booking inquiries from around the region, but have had to turn away potential customers because they do not know the opening date.
