NOL orders 8 container ships worth US$1 bln

SINGAPORE, June 28 (Reuters) - Singapore's Neptune Orient Lines , which runs the world's eighth-biggest container liner, said on Thursday it will buy eight container ships worth a total of US$1 billion.
The vessels will be built in South Korea and will be delivered in 2011, the firm said in a statement.
