Think you have the gift of the gab? JJ Lin's got a challenge for you.

He's thrown down the gauntlet, to friends and fans alike, to complete a #JJtonguetwisterbattle (#林俊傑進階繞口令) within 10 seconds.

The contents of the word game? A string of similar-sounding Chinese words that promote his latest single, Resurgence.

The Singaporean singer's got it down in 6.07 seconds as shown in a video clip posted on his social media accounts on Dec 28.

Will anyone beat his record?

Before attempting the challenge, Nicholas Tse said: "This will be difficult," but powered through the characters in a respectable 7.05 seconds. But it was later revealed that Nicholas actually had some 'help' from JJ, who fast-forwarded the footage. Sneaky.

Unfortunately, the same trick couldn't save Jackson Wang, who is seen trying really hard to recite the words. After getting his tongue tied up in a knot, he tore up the printout he was reading from and yelled, "Not bad!"

Taiwanese singer Wilber Pan also took a shot at it and stumbled over his words in his introduction. He barely got past the first line before giving up on the challenge, exclaiming "It's too hard!"

Meanwhile, Tanya Chua had a good chuckle during the game, finishing in 12 seconds. But the Singapore singer wasn't satisfied with her result and said: "Let me do it again!"

Although Lala Hsu adorably let slip a Taiwanese accent while reciting the lines, she completed the tongue-twister in 9.67 seconds.

Tiger Hu's in the lead so far, blazing through the characters in just one breath, taking only 6.35 seconds. Phew.
